SHOW STANDARDS FOR RATS
As dictated by the RMCA

Tail less Rat Standard

Description

Tailless rats can be exhibited in any recognized color or marking. The sole feature is the complete absence of a tail. Tailless rats will have a more rounded body type.

Disqualifications

Any tail nub; any physical abnormality due to being tailless (i.e., difficulty walking or climbing, skeletal problems, etc.).

Any color, marking, or variety not currently recognized by RMCA, or any other new feature, is considered "unstandardized." Unstandardized animals are not eligible to compete for Best Section, Best Variety, or Best in Show.
