MIDWEST RAT & MOUSE CLUB of AMERICA
SHOW STANDARDS FOR RATS
As dictated by the RMCA

Odd-Eyed Rat Standard

COAT DESCRIPTION

Odd-eye rats can be exhibited in any recognized color. The sole feature is that each eye is a different color (One is pink, the other is dark ruby or black). Markings will be judged at the judge's discretion, and can be in any recognized or unrecognized pattern.

Scoring

30 points for eye color, 20 points for color.

Faults

Not enough contrast between color of eyes; other faults as for specific coat color.

Any color, marking, or variety not currently recognized by RMCA, or any other new feature, is considered "unstandardized." Unstandardized animals are not eligible to compete for Best Section, Best Variety, or Best in Show.
